II. Donations, Digital Products, and Services

NorthMu management does not issue refunds for any digital products and services once the order is submitted. We prioritize the security and satisfaction of our players and recommend contacting us promptly if you encounter any issues with product delivery or functionality. By purchasing any product and/or service from our website, you acknowledge and agree that all transactions are final. We do not entertain disputes, requests for partial refunds, or full refunds under any circumstances. If you have any concerns or questions regarding our policy, we encourage you to reach out to our support team before making any donations or purchases on our server. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we strive to provide a secure and enjoyable gaming experience for all our users.

III. Server Donations and Refunds

The credit rewards can be used to purchase items in the NorthMu webshop (if available), exchange credits for Wcoins, add hide, VIP features, and access any services available for the user of the account. NorthMu Administrator(s) and GM(s) will NOT be held responsible for any lost, disappeared, missing, or stolen items. Regardless of the cause, we will NEVER refund or return any lost items. This includes donations, items, seals, Wcoins, credits, levels, Jr. GM status, hide, VIP, etc.

IV. Hacking, Cheating, and Scamming

• Any hacks or cheats that can compromise the NorthMu game server, community chat, files, clients, and patches will result in a permanent ban of your IP address, computer hardware, and account.
• Abusing server bugs, credit harvesters, ranking abusers, or any type of cheating will result in a permanent account ban.
• Scamming involving buying, selling, trading, offtrade, etc., with any users or members will result in a permanent account ban.

V. Advertising

• Any referral to MU-related or non-related NorthMu sites is prohibited on community support channels (Facebook, Forum, and Discord) or in-game. This includes advertising or mentioning other MU server(s) and forums or any other online gaming advertisements, including rankings that do not affiliate with NorthMu server(s). If someone invites you to another MU server and you acknowledge this person without reporting the incident, you will also be permanently banned for assisting a rule breaker.
• Advertising non-gaming servers will result in a permanent ban. Referrals to any non-gaming-related sites are not to be discussed on either community support channels (Facebook, Forum, Discord) or in-game. This includes advertising or mentioning other websites that contain adult content, shopping advertisements, etc.

VI. Accessory to Rule Violation

Anyone who assists a person or player on community support channels (Facebook, Forum, and Discord) who breaks the rules will also receive a permanent ban. For example: If you assist someone who is selling items for real currency and they get caught or reported, then both the seller and the helper will be permanently banned without warning. Assisting by saying "Bro, you got reported on the forum so I suggest you move your items to a new account" will result in a permanent ban.

VII. Respect the Server and Staff

• Personal negative attacks on the server and its staff will not be tolerated. Punishments for disrespecting the staff include Character Ban, Account Ban, and I.P. Address Ban (Permanent).
• Anyone who challenges a staff’s final decision will not be tolerated. Your community support (Facebook, Forum, and Discord) and in-game account(s) will be permanently banned.
• Staff has the authority to lock and/or delete any posts or threads they deem irrelevant or frivolous at their discretion.
• Public discussions of staff actions are not allowed on community support channels (Facebook, Forum, and Discord). It is prohibited to protest staff actions in titles, avatars, signatures, chat boxes, and in-game /post or /gpost.
• Staff has the FINAL say in any disputes. Do not continue posting on matters that have already been decided.
• Staff has the right to suspend/block characters or account(s) for investigation as a precaution. Remember, we will not ban players without reason.
• Staff has the right, without question, to violate any rules they deem necessary for the benefit of the community.
• If an Admin or GM (Guild Master) makes a final decision, your suspension or ban is no longer up for discussion.

VIII. Free Play Server

This is a FREE PLAY private server. We do things differently than other servers. If you dislike the game, its settings, or the staff, feel free to leave. The interpretation of these rules is solely up to the administrator or the owner of NorthMu, and these rules can change at any time without prior notice. Since rules can change, we cannot guarantee that any precedent you may find still applies. If you’re unsure about what constitutes a breach of a rule, it’s better to err on the side of caution.

IX. In-Game Playing Rules

• This is a full PvP Server - meaning you can Kill/KS any player, any time, as much as you want, AS LONG AS THE GAME ALLOWS IT.
• Be polite and respect all players, even if they are your enemies; good enemies make a good game.
• Bad language or racism is not allowed! If we receive reports about this, we will take action.
• We can refund lost rewards due to bugs (primarily during Events) as long as the player has clear and valid proof (screenshots/videos) of the bug.

X. Vote Abuse

Using multiple accounts to vote is strictly prohibited. This is considered vote abuse. Any member, including Admins or GMs, caught engaging in vote abuse will not be banned but will have their credits reset to zero. Please respect the vote reward system and avoid any attempts to exploit it. This rule is applicable to all members of the NorthMu community.

XI. Automated Detection and Punishment

The NorthMu administration team has developed web-based software that will run a scan over all accounts and match their IP and MAC addresses, as well as their votes. Accounts detected with similar IP or MAC addresses, or votes cast within a 12-hour interval from the same IP / MAC address, will be automatically flagged for investigation. Depending on the severity of the offense, penalties may include warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans from the server. The administration reserves the right to adjust the severity of punishment based on the circumstances of each case. By playing on NorthMu, you agree to adhere to these automated detection and punishment measures.
